My PULS Test

I took the test on Nov. 15, 2014. I felt good and I thought I was healthy despite having been diagnosed a diabetic in 1998. My results told me otherwise. I wasn’t in danger of getting a heart attack the following week but I was headed in that direction. My Risk Factor was Elevated at 9.88%. What was more disheartening was that I was 58 and had the heart of an 80 year old. They told me that my profile should have resulted in a Risk Factor easily in the 20 percentile or higher but perhaps my health supplementation with Max products was relevant in a lower than expected score. After consulting with both Drs. Jacoby and Harrington, I found that I could take action to reduce my Risk Factor. I made a $1000 bet to reduce my Risk Factor to 4% in a year and went to work. I started taking a statin drug and another one for lowering high blood pressure. I also conscientiously began exercising 4-5 days a week.

For my birthday I organized another blood draw on Apr. 25, 2015. I had improved my Risk Factor to 6.49% which Dr. Douglas Harrington said was remarkable. My heart age had improved slightly to 79.
